The Thornhill Learning Center has been a staple institution in the Thornhill community for over 10 years.  We have been helping over thousands students in the community in reading, writing, math and high school science. By working closely with the parents and students, we found the key to successful learning is confidence. By working closely with the parents, we can develop personalized learning programs to fill the learning gap and strengthen students' self-esteem. As a result, our students become more excited to learn.

Our center believes in working on a more personal basis with students, adapting to their strengths, and allowing them the opportunity to truly learn at a benchmark that fits them.  Our tutors act as facilitators and coaches, guiding students as they explore, experiment, and learn. The goal is to increase student engagement and motivation, and to improve academic outcomes by ensuring that each student is receiving an education that is tailored to their needs and abilities.

We recognizes that learning is a complex, multi-faceted process, and  students' intellectual, emotional, social, and physical development are interconnected. Students are encouraged to develop as whole people, not just as scholars or learners. They are encouraged to share their emotional intelligence throughout the learning and recognize how it impact the learning outcome.
